Dzrh.com.ph is the online arm of the second leading AM radio station DZRH Nationwide 666 as of the second quarter of 2023. Like its sister-radio station, the site carries news and feature articles on a wide range of topics such as politics, crime, entertainment and sports.
However, the exact founding date of the dzrh.com.ph is not indicated on the website.
According to digital library Wayback Machine (archive.org), the earliest archived version of dzrh.com.ph was on Nov. 26, 2006. The website appeared to be initially used to promote DZRH and its sister radio stations. It attributed the design of the website to the “MBC Ad&Promo interactives” and indicated 2006 as its copyright year.
In November 2007, the website address of dzrh.com.ph was changed into www.mbcsales.com.ph until it stopped being used as of Dec. 20, 2011.
In 2013, DZRH announced its new website address - www.dzrhnews.com - where visitors can access live audio and video streaming. It has since been discontinued, and is no longer accessible. The station’s official website is back to dzrh.com.ph.
According to Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism’ Digital News Report for 2023, 9% of 2,284 Filipinos surveyed said they get their news from drzh.com.ph on a weekly basis. It is the 11th most accessed news website.
Dzrh.com.ph is operated and owned by the Manila Broadcasting Company (now carrying the brand name MBC Media Group), which is owned by the Elizalde family that holds around 89.74% shares in the company.
