DZRV 846

Veritas 846 Radio Totoo is a 24-hour Roman Catholic AM station that airs both news and public affairs, and religious programs.

In 1983, when mainstream media including radio almost ignored the assassination and funeral of former senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Veritas covered it. Three years later, it was in Veritas Radio that Manila Archbishop Jaime Cardinal Sin made the call for the people to gather in EDSA and support then Minister of Defense Juan Ponce Enrile and Vice Chief of Staff Fidel Ramos who staged a coup d e’tat against the dictator  Ferdinand E. Marcos. Armed men destroyed the transmitter of Radyo Veritas at Malolos during the EDSA revolution.

Aside from radio, Radyo Veritas is also accessible online through its website. It is also planning to extend its reach to television through a partnership with TV Maria, a Filipino Catholic channel on cable television. TV Maria is owned by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), under the management of the Archdiocese of Manila.

Radyo Veritas is operated by Radyo Veritas Global Broadcasting System, Inc., which is chaired by Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle. Its parent company is the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila, with 74.61 percent ownership. Other stockholders include business tycoon Antonio O. Cojuangco, with 11.54 percent ownership, and Eric S. Canoy, president of EDCanoy Prime Holdings, Inc.

Radyo Veritas is a member of the Catholic Media Network, a radio network owned and operated by different pioneering Catholic broadcast media corporations. Currently, it has 55 radio stations—28 FM and 27 AM radio stations—spread over 14 regions and 42 provinces.
