Like ABS-CBN, GMA’s portal redirects to its entertainment page, with stories about celebrities and television shows.
Its news portal, GMA News Online, gets its content mostly from GMA broadcast news. In 2001, it partnered with Inquirer to launch INQ7 interactive, which both media outlets claim to be the first multimedia website in the Philippines. Inquirer reported that the partnership ended in 2007, but according to GMA’s map of subsidiaries, Inq7 Interactive, Inc. is still its partner.
