News.tv5.com.ph is the seventh leading online news website in the Philippines based on the 2023 Digital News Report of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. It claims to be the first 24/7 online news channel in the country, serving as the website of TV5 news unit News5.
According to the 2023 Digital News Report of Reuters Institute, 18% of 2,284 Filipino respondents say they access news.tv5.com.ph on a weekly basis.
The website, which can still be accessed via its original domain news5.com.ph, is a subdomain or webpage of tv5.com.ph — the official website of the TV5 Network, Inc. It was launched in May 2013 by TV5 in partnership with PLDT and Smart Communications.
It publishes articles and video reports on its website covering various topics such as crime, politics, economy, health, entertainment and sports.
