Inquirer Holdings, Incorporated is the umbrella company of Inquirer’s media business.
It serves as the parent company of both Inquirer Publications, Incorporated and Inquirer Interactive, Incorporated, with 70 percent shares for each company, according to the company’s financial statement for 2015.
Inquirer Publications, Incorporated prints tabloids Libre, a free paper distributed in several train stations across the metro, Bandera, a Taglish tabloid that contains news and gossip, and Cebu Daily News, a provincial paper.
Meanwhile, Inquirer Interactive, Incorporated runs the online platform, inquirer.net.
Inquirer Holdings also owns 55 percent of Inquirer Catalyst Media, an advertising and marketing company.
It also has 49 percent shares in Hinge Inquirer Publications, which prints lifestyle, niche and community magazines. In addition, it has minimal shares in the broadsheet Philippine Daily Inquirer, Incorporated at 10.26 percent.
Inquirer Holdings also has 51 percent shares in JCMWell Radio Holdings Corporation, which runs AM station Radyo Inquirer DZIQ 990 through Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corporation.
Aside from these media companies, Inquirer Holdings wholly owns publications and subscriptions delivery service DAG Xpress Courier, Inc.
